HISTORY
It was in the early fifties when Ron Gottardo emigrated to Canada and set up a masonry company in Toronto. Building a reputation based on integrity, diligence and commitment Gottardo Masonry has grown to be one of the largest and most highly respected masonry contractors in the GTA. Gottardo Construction was then formed in 1978 by Ron Gottardo's son, Aldo. It was Aldo Gottardo's vision to focus and grow the general contracting group into a multi faceted construction and real estate business. He continues his father's tradition of total dedication with a hands on approach.
Stability and sustainable growth laid the foundation for the Gottardo Group of Companies to expand its delivery of real estate development, design-build and general contracting services to meet the changing demands of the real estate and business community. Four decades later, Gottardo has become synonymous with office, industrial and retail projects across Southern Ontario. Through Aldo Gottardo's leadership the company has constructed in excess of 24 million square feet of product.
With expansion plans and a continued goal to grow the business even further, Aldo Gottardo began building an Executive Management Team that would allow the Group of Companies to reach even greater heights. The current team reflects Aldo's philosophy of investing in the right people, putting them in the right roles and letting them be successful.
